The book is a FREE PDF Manual designed to help new users conquer the complexity of the Blender version 2.57 interface.
The Manual comprises 24 Chapters (29MB) in 360 illustrated pages describing the Blender Graphical User Interface and the array of Tools for Modelling and Animating Objects and Characters.

There is a problem with the link to the book.

I just checked and the link still takes you to the info page for the book. The links on the page have been updated and rearranged, but they are still there as well.
The Book does take a while to load, so you have to be patient.
